Here is a prime example of what can happen when you take your car to the wrong shop!
This 1970 RoadRunner 440+6 has only 24,000 original miles and when the owner took it to another restoration shop, his instructions were fairly simple. "Only paint the car, I want to leave the underside in original, survivor condition."
Well, unfortunately the shop had not only not heard of masking paper, the paint job was hardly what would pass for a repair on a daily driver, let alone a muscle car. There was green paint on all of the suspension, undercoating, and windows and every panel had runs and areas that did not have enough paint on them. In some areas there was more green paint on the leaf springs than on the fenders!
